Only California cares?

I received this product as a gift. In reviewing the information on lid size so I can buy a different lid, there is a CA resident warning that this product can expose you to chemicals including lead and DEHP, which are known to the state of CA to cause cancer and birth defects. So the other states just don't know it?

Wash by hand is a joke

It says to wash it by hand and I have two chiefs water bottles that are chipping the design off. All I have done is washed it by hand and it still is chipping badly just disappointed for what I spent.
