Northside Men's Riverside II Sport Strap Sandal

For me, these are the best sandals imaginable, also beating out shoes and sneakers. I have been wearing them for many years, after studying all possible alternatives by trying sandals on at department stores (although I have never seen these on sale at department stores.) I originally bought my first pair after reading reviews of sandals on Amazon. I buy a new pair when an old pair wears out, so I always have one in reserve in case they 'upgrade' or cancel the sandal. They wear out out after about three or four years, so this is about my fourth pair. Now that I am retired, I wear nothing else.
