I really, really like these Easy Spirit zip front casual shoes. They are EXTREMELY well made, a high quality, heavy shoe. This is definitely a shoe for colder weather. The suede-like fabric of this shoe can absolutely handle inclement weather. And, even with it's bulk, and with the size 11 I purchased for myself, when looking at myself wearing them they do not appear to make my feel look huge. I actually like them so much, I'm back on Walmart.com and want to purchase another pair, this time in black. This is a very sturdy shoe so if you're someone who is on their feet all day, I'd say this would be a perfect shoe for you, with a small, simple arch support slipped inside. I don't think on their own they have enough arch support. With them, they are wonderful. I'm also going to look so see if I can get this shoe in wide. As they fit right now they are snug on my feet, but they don't bind or rub. I suffer from foot problems so I think just getting a wide shoe would help me with my issues. And, compared to what I paid for sneakers in a shoe store recently, these shoes are very reasonably priced.
