Buy this if you are using a standard tripod.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew I wanted to mount the new Mevo on our tripod, so I grabbed this with the initial purchase. Glad I did, and there's no reason not to if you already have a good tripod. Worked exactly as expected. (Had to watch a YouTube video on the fly to get it set up, so thank you to whoever posted that.)
