Great value

I was searching for binoculars for about one year before I made up my mind. I ended up getting a pair of Bushnell legend Ultra HD 10x42 for $200 and a pair of Barska Deep Sea 7x50. The barskas cost half the price and the pair I got is very good. You focus the eye pice individually and then everything you look at is focused. Excellent for scanning. The image is very nice. I can't find anything wrong with it. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because the range scale does not light up on mine. The compass lights up fine and works great but is sometimes out of focus. If it's out of focus while you are looking at an object you will have to tilt them up or down and the compass falls back into focus. 4 stars because it has a great image, works great in the dark! And the price is great!!. With that said , the image on the smaller Bushnells is superior in the day time. At night the Barska Deep Sea is excellent. Before I made my choice I visited a store that had some expensive binoculars such as the Steiners but at $500. When I looked through those I was not impressed. I'm sure the Steiners are more durable but I don't plan on dropping mine under a car to get run over and I don't plan on dropping mine over Niagara falls. With that said if I go on a vacation, a hunt, or a mission, these will do very very good. And if I loose them or break then, lifetime warranty or get another. Can't beat that price for the amount of quality. I spent $3000.00 on my rifle scope and I can say I would never put a Barska on my rifle but their binoculars are impressive.

Barska Binocs

They are light and compact, but the magnification does not seem as strong as another 7 x 50 that I have. It does have compass and reticulate scale in them. The field is a little narrow, but the amount of light let in for viewing is very good.
