Strong sticker!

These Velcro brand alfa-lok u2122 strips are by far the strongest holding 1 inch wide by 3 inches long velcro strips I have ever dealt with. They are rated up to a holding capacity of 10 lbs, meaning whatever you might hang with these can weigh up to ten pounds, which can be a myriad of items from the heaviest picture frame ever to using it in your shop for keeping your favorite wrench at arms length on the wall, when there is not a hole in the tool to hang it from a nail. The main use I believe would be an almost permanent mounting of an item to a wall, as the velcro takes a little effort to join the two strips together till they make a snapping noise, and once joined it is hard to get them apart again. That is a plus though as it means the two velcro sides have little chance of coming apart. The velcro strips are made for extreme weather conditions so lots of uses outside such as hanging security cameras without drilling holes in your house. For illustrative purposes I mounted my office cell phone to the wall by my desk with the strips and I just use the speakerphone, without removing phone from wall. Keeps my phone from being lost in all the bills on my desk! "Siri" keeps my phone hands free by dialing for me. Best secretary ever! Best velcro strips ever also.

Very Strong Hold

I have a 115volt terminal strip that I have been trying to attach to the underside of my Garage door opener for months. I have tried double sided tape as well as several other tape products and they all let go after a few weeks. I have had that terminal strip attached with this Velcro strip for a month now and it is still solid. I am so pleased with this stuff and I am sure I will find other applications.

Super Velcro

If you are like me, you've been annoyed by the performance of Velcro when used in harsh conditions. For starters, the hook side of the Velcro strips does not differentiate between the loop side of the strips and any other object it can latch onto. After a short while, any exposed section of the hook side of the strip will get clogged with a variety of debris. Often that does not matter because the adhesive is not good enough to stick to anything unless it is under optimum circumstances. Well, that problems are a thing of the past with the new Alpha Lok system. Instead of a hook strip and a loop strip, you now have two identical strips with what looks like little letter "T" spikes. You can see this in the picture I loaded of the back of the package (it was too small for me to take a photo of the actual strip). This design picks up virtually no fuzz or unwanted debris. They only thing that the Alpha Lok system connects to is another section of the Alpha Lok system. It is a beautiful thing indeed. Now add in the industrial strength adhesive used to hold the strip in place and you have a near perfect near permanent solution. The only marginally negative associated with this product is that it is slightly thicker than your old style traditional Velcro. This stuff is a must have for every home tool kit.
