Having been brought up in the South, a winter morning isn't the same without a nice bowl of piping hot grits. My mom said it was my first solid food and to this day I consider it a staple in my pantry. I eat it the southern way, with butter, of course! Add some bacon and scrambled eggs and you have what might be considered the perfect comfort breakfast. It also works for supper.(-:

You can't go wrong with Quaker, they have been around forever. They never disappoint. I love them in the winter with vegan butter and little bit of salt. One bowl is so satisfying and filling. Easy and fast to prepare in the microwave. Excellent value. One container last a long time!
