Smells wonderful it just doesn't permeate through the entire room not like I'm going to handle that terminate throughout the entire room, but you can smell it within a reasonable distance. I have a few elderly dogs small ones that snuggle with me at night but sometimes I have to get down to go get a drink of water so I keep a little bit of these candles lit on my dresser. It's not enough to keep you awake at night it's very nice ambience And it gives the dogs enough light to be able to see.
