I was not thrilled. Brand has a reputation, and one of the major brands and availability. But, Coals need to be replaced each time, they do not burn a "second time." Did work the first time, but I had to light it a few times before it delivered enough heat to reach the desired temperature. Nonetheless, good value for the price. Just be patient. It is an "old-school" product, in comparison to other options.

I am more price conscious these days considering I am just going to burn the product LOL. I have been using propane for the last 20 plus years and just decided to use charcoal again at least once in a while. So, Kingsford has been around forever as I used to buy them in the past....for a lot less. But that's cost-of-living folks. Have a great barbecue these really burn great.

Great product but do expensive
Kingsford charcoal briquettes is one of the premium brands for charcoal briquettes but… I paid almost 8 dollars for an 8 pound bag of charcoal, which is extremely high for what you get. I understand price increases, but this is ridiculous. A dollar a pound for charcoal bricketts!
