Very nice bowls! Thick, pretty pattern, and has plates to match in 2 sizes! How wonderful is that! Great for everyday to save time and money from cleaning plates and bowls, just them throw away! I was very impressed with these bowls. Naturally, if you're gonna leave hot liquid in them for a long period of time eventually, I'm sure they would fail. However, I had ice cream, chopped up, wet, onions, that I had in the refrigerator overnight, chopped up red peppers that I had in the refrigerator overnight, and a lot of other things and never, not one time have they failed on me. There was a little bit of sagging and a little bit of moisture absorption with the stuff overnight, but it was all still intact. The vegetables were all still wetand the bowl was still sturdy. I was kind of impressed to tell you the truth. They worked better and more dirty than some of the plastic bowls that I have bought.
