Upon opening the cake bites smelled similar to Play-Doh. I ate two squares right after opening and they were soft and chewy. The flavor was bland and not very sweet it tasted mostly of coconut vs a birthday cake flavor I'm familiar with. I placed them in the fridge as suggested. Attempted to eat one the next day. I'm honestly surprised I didn't crack a tooth even though there was an audible crack. It was my jaw as I have TMJ. Placing them in the fridge turned them into rock solid squares. My husband took the square from me to inspect and my teeth marks were clearly impressed in the square with no full bite taken out. He attempted to break it apart in his hands and it wouldn't even crumble!! I threw the rest of the bag in the trash.
