I like that it cooks in the microwave like a real egg ( not mushy like the Augeson scrambled version). When I measure it into the 1/4 cup I spoon it in and not pack it so it's not too firm. As I said about the scrambled version it does slightly lose something in the favor when it's dried. I would still recommend it. I season with onion powder, salt and pepperit and use a slice of cheese.

I have only tried these in a recipe and as an egg wash before flouring meat to be fried. It performed well for both (I did use extra water for the egg wash). I have yet to try them scrambled or in an omelette, though. I would say they are a great item to have on hand in case you run out of eggs or for food storage.

Cheap way to have eggs

I don't eat eggs. I bought these for cooking and for Saturday morning breakfast for my SO. I made one for him to try and to be honest, I wasn't sold that it was going to actually taste good. It was a weird consistency, but once it was put into the pan to cook, it actually started to smell like an egg. The best part was when it was finished and he tried it, that he said, wow this taste like an egg. Its tasty!
