Get going Faster
Light small, fast. I put this in an older desktop to replace a mechanical drive. The mechanical drive would take 60-90 seconds to spin up and load This loads in about 15 seconds. The same for programs. I could wait a minute or more for a large program like photoshop to load. That now opens in about 10 seconds. Sits easy in any open bay and you never hear it 'spin up'. Well worth the extra money for all of the advantages.

Western Digital Rocks!
I needed to upgrade my Dell XPS 8700 with a Solid State Drive to boost the speed. I cloned the six year old 1TB Seagate spinning drive to this Western Digital device. The reason for picking WD is it's reputation for reliability. It's been "running" only for a week now, I have confidence that it will give me a long service. I recommend it. However, Walmart charged $47 more that Amazon sells it for (about $100) so I wouldn't buy it from Walmart again.
