I love this thing! It's extremely quiet comes with a spray bar as well as a wide mouth outlet, which is what I chose to use. I'm running a 20 gallon long, black water newt tank. It has kept the water extremely clear and has quite a bit of filtration. I do also appreciate that there is room inside to add some media for beneficial bacteria to live on. It also provides a little reservoir for water going in and coming out excellent by very affordable.

The filter is easy to set up. No siphoning needed to start due to the pump actually being in the tank. This filter replaced a canister filter that was bigger and it seems to do the job adequately on a 55 gallon tank. I recommend this filter due to the price and easiness in set up. only drawback is that the suction is under the pump.
