The lighting from these bulbs is like old incandescent light. It's not harsh or bluish like some LED lights are now. Also, there is not a plastic collar at the base of the bulb which blocks some of the light.

Finally Upgraded from Fire

I've been using candles for years—great for mood lighting, not so great for seeing anything past 3 feet or not setting the cat on fire. Enter this glorious invention: the light bulb. Let me just say, Thomas Edison really nailed it. The man knew what he was doing. I flipped a switch and BOOM—instant light, no wax drips, no fear of burning down the house. Revolutionary. Huge thanks to GE for keeping the dream alive. This thing is bright, dependable, and doesn't smell like melted bees. Highly recommend to anyone still living in the 1800s. Seriously, 10/10. Never going back to candles… unless the power goes out, and even then, I'll light them in shame.
