Schumacher quality in a reliable portable device

As this is a recent purchase, comments are based on short-term use. This charger is fast-charging and easy to use. The cables are sufficiently long to reach installed batteries, and the clamps are easy to apply. The charger offers quick-start and trickle-charge capabilities, as well as the ability to load-test the battery. The charger is sufficiently strong to charge well-drained batteries. The instructions are clear and user-friendly. A must-have for everyday use for car, truck, ATV, lawn mower, etc. battery charges. Heavy-duty and an excellent value for the reliability and convenience afforded.

Anything less is wasted money.

Had battery issues and we both had agm batteries from an leading manufacture, around the same time within a couple of weeks both truck batteries were dead. Mid USA west coast, no extreme weather. Had other chargers, they took so long to charge the battery to even turn over. Found this one at a local employee owned business on sale. Like $10 more than its lesser counter part. So after reading and comparing the box panels, I purchased it. With the 85amp instant start or the 30amp boost to start, there is no waiting to git. Absolutely buy this charger/booster/ maintenance unit. It's a bit more, but it's "one and done"
