Absolute Beast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This APC Smart-UPS On-Line 10kVA is an absolute beast for enterprise environments. I deployed one for a financial services client last quarter and the true online double-conversion topology means zero transfer time during power events - critical for their trading systems. The 24x 5-20R outlets plus 4x L6-30R give you tons of flexibility for high-density racks, and those included 208V to 120V transformers are a game-changer when you need to mix equipment voltages without separate step-down units. The network card comes pre-installed which saved us setup time, and the rail kit made the 10U installation surprisingly manageable for our team. Yes, it's a serious investment and takes up rack space, but for mission-critical applications where downtime isn't an option, this unit has paid for itself in peace of mind alone. My client hasn't had a single blip in six months of 24/7 operation.

The Highest Quality Build Available!

If you need a free-standing, floor type 10kVA UPS, this is probably as good a unit as you can find. Dual conversion is best type of UPS circuit topology, which what this UPS utilizes. It's also extremely versatile, with connections for step-down transformer(s) and external battery cabinets (for scalable runtime). This UPS is hard to beat if you're looking for the highest quality build available.
