Very Slim - study the instructions carefully!

it's the slimmest mount i've ever seen and i've seen them all (i'm in the av industry). crazy thin, but it is a bit tricky to install since it's so unique. you'll need to carefully study the instructions and template to get the tv placed exactly where you want it. if you take the time to do this, the end result is amazing. you may not hit any studs in your installation so you will need to get appropriate mounting hardware like 1/4" snaptoggles from hilti or equivalent. you must have at least 4 per bracket, 8 total, at a minimum. this will be more than sufficient in 1/2" drywall.

Slim as advertised, but tricky to install

as other people have noted this is more difficult to install than a typical mount, so you might want to hire a pro to install this mount for you. however if you do it yourself, just make sure to measure everything several times so you know how your tv will end up on your wall. also, a laser level helps a lot to line up the two brackets if you have one. i found that you can hit studs on each side of the tv with at least 2 screws top to bottom in a modern home with typical studs on 18" center, so i didn't have an issue. in the end, the look was very clean and unique to this product.
