Suncast 27" Steel Snow Shovel & Pusher with Wear Strip

I bought this shovel 2 years ago and loved it. I tried to obtain another last year but this shovel was all sold out. My husband and I had all kinds of excuses in order to be the one to use the shovel. We have a snow thrower but when there is only a few inches we use shovels. This year, 2012, I decided to again try to obtain another shovel and was lucky enough to find only 1 at a Walmarts a little ways from us. Again, all sold out. Now my husband and I have his and her shovels which we contently use.

This is a great shovel. I prefer shoveling to using the snow blower. With the 27 inch width, I can usually get my driveway done in about the same time as the snow blower anyway. While my neighbors try to clear their driveways with their toy shovels, I get mine done in about one-third the time with this thing. The width allows you to clear a wide swath. There are raised edges so the snow doesn't fall off the side if you need to lift it. I'm thinking about buying another one of these as a backup. As I do shovel a lot, these Suncast shovels, which are relatively well made, will still wear out after a few years of heavy use.
