Scraper=timesaver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I excitedly bought my first Kitchenaid mixer!! Lift style (second hand) and it only came with the whisk.. Well being slightly limited didn't stop me from making perfect macarons, amazing marshmallow, and an angel food cake, it wasn't long till I ordered the flex edge scraper beater, and is such a timesaver from having to stop the machine, scrape, start up again.. It does that work for me.. Biscuits, batter, even sausage mince, all made in first week of quick delivery.. I'm a very happy home cook..

Love my KitchenAid mixer. Hate the coated beater
I have Kitchen Aid mixer, Model KSM5BBU which was purchased in 1994. I am having to order a third flat base beater for the mixer, because the coating on the beater cracks and peel, I hand wash the mixer flat based beater as well as the stainless steel mixing bowl. It would be nice if the flat blade beater could be stainless steel like the beater.
