Material Polymer PEX Brand Ironwerks Color Black Connector Type Tee Exterior Finish PEX Number Of Pieces 100 Manufactured to ASTM F1960, CSA B137.5. PPSU Engineered Plastic Material. Lead Free Compliant For use with PEX-a Tubing Manufactured to ASTM Standard F876-877. Temperature/Pressure: 210F / 150 psi Expansion PEX fittings are larger than the pipe. This eliminates the possibility of installer neglecting to solder, glue or crimp a fitting, resulting in costly leaks inside the walls of a completed project. An ASTM F1960 fitting requires the connection be fully made, permitting quick visual confirmation: If you can see the fitting is inside the pipe, the connection is done.
