Under Armour Adult Tactical HeatGear Boot Socks, 1-Pair

I found and started wearing these when I was a drill instructor - I had just been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in both my feet. The doc gave me some medical compression socks and told me I needed to be off my feet for like 6 - 9 months to allow my feet to heal. This was absolutely not an option and the compression socks he gave me helped, until they broke after the first day wearing them while running and screaming. I found these, and started wearing them religiously. They helped alleviate some of the discomfort I had been feeling and helped me make it through the long days. After making it through the first cycle with them, I haven't switched. I've been wearing these for close to 8 years now - only replaced a few pairs (3 - 4) after about 2 - 3 years.

I have older pairs that I was about to update. After seeing back to back to back highly critical reviews, and already not loving the form, I am going to pass on buying new ones until I see something more positive or in the right form factor. I really like my older pairs, They lasted a good couple years (seven pair in rotation) but they are starting to thin. If the new reviews are any indication, the new ones wont last half that. I really would prefer having crew style, not near stockings. It's hot enough in Florida without having a second layer on my legs. I use some black crew socks some days and it's way better. All the other Sage Green socks UA offers are for cold weather, and it seems the only heat gear ones they have (these) are going downhill. No one else makes a decent pair of hot weather socks in the right color. So this is really disappointing.
