My son has played rec and travel baseball. Last fall and this spring he transitioned to the outfield and always pitched as well. He is now 13U and still prefers these gloves over his A1000 and doesn't even want to use a new A2000 yet, even after I offered to buy him a $400 A2000. The Wilson A800 gloves are easy to break in, with the extra $20 to have steamed at a sports goods store. And the kids can use them almost immediately. For outfield, this 12” glove is perfect for any kid or even adult. My son can easily use this glove at 13U and it would have been fine at 12U as well. He also has an A800 infield not that looks just like the A2000. He still prefers that as well. Parents. If your kid is about 10-13. This is a perfect glove for him. And you don't go broke buying them. Don't over oil. Trust me. A little goes a long way and buy glove conditioner separate. It's not oil. Too much oil and the laces will snap. Little at a time.

It was a good glove just didn't fit. I thought it was an adult glove but it was labeled in the fine print as youth.
