Works as expected - I'd buy it again..

Works as expected. Drive(s) are detected immediately, and transfer rates seem consistent. I use the cable to connect to a Western Digital WD1001FALS drive without an enclosure for quick backups. My only complaint is that if you use it to connect to an internal 3.5" drive without an enclosure, the plastic surrounding the SATA connector was too wide and couldn't be connected to the drive with the adjacent power connector attached. I ended up having to trim some of the plastic off the side of the SATA connector adjacent to the power connector so that it would fit.
