I am more than happy with these four Marastar flat free wheels, which have a 300 lb capacity and are nearly the exact size of the pneumatic wheels/tires that came with my Douglas finish mower made by Walco Equipment Ltd. I say "nearly the exact size" because these awesome tires are 1" in diameter smaller than my originals. 1" smaller in diameter makes no difference to me, because every finish mower allows for graduations in height with built-in spacers.
No more flats! A perfect fit! Good looking. Rugged...they're not cheaply made. And did I mention NO MORE FLATS?!
The only downside (if you want to call it that) are the grease fittings. When I tightened them securely, two of them faced into the wheel, which would make it difficult to grease the axels IF I don't turn them out enough to make it a snap, and then turn them back in again to tighten securely. Hardly a downer. Anyone who mentions this to be a hassle is being too picky. As mentioned, I'll just turn each of the two grease fittings out a bit, grease up the axles, and then turn them back in again to tighten. No big deal.
I have to mention the price, which I found to be unbelievable for these awesome wheels. Less than $20 each, not including tax, and free shipping. You will not find this price anywhere but on Walmart.com. Believe me, I've checked and re-checked and checked again and again.
Walco Equipment wants over $70 each for the same wheel. I saved $200 by buying through Walmart.com. That's another reason to pat myself on the back for being a diligent shopper.
All in all, these centered hubs (not offset hubs) are perfect for a Douglas finish mower, but I'm sure they are perfect for hand carts, dollies, etc. if you need 4.10/3.50-4 wheels.
