Lots of Fun & Useful Too!
Wow, these GeoSafari® Jr. Walkie Talkies were beyond expectation. My 5 year old son LOVES them. Very easy to use! We have spent the past two days working outside around our acreage and he loved being able to "call" mom while he was working along side dad. He even had grandma talking on them and they had a blast so this is a toy perfect for all ages. I think he will enjoy playing with friends with them as well. I enjoy that if he's in his room I can "call" him to come to the kitchen. A few things I loved about these: Color - First day one of these dropped on the ground and we had to back track to find it. Love the alert sound that helped locate it and once we were close the bight orange and blue were easy to spot on the ground. Sound- My son wears a hearing aid so volume is important. This was loud enough to easily be heard and it worked well with his hearing aid. Clip- There's a clip on the back that makes is super easy to clip onto a pocket for easy access. Durable - These endured being dropped on the ground. Bounced around while he climbed on the swing set. And we were outside when it was wet and muddy and they were easy to wipe off. Range - Never had a problem with these and we tested them across our property which is about 300'. Even though the directions didn't recommend trying to use them through walls they still worked well. We would highly recommend these!
Best toy ever!
This walkie talkie is easily one of my daughter's favorite toys! She absolutely loves parading around the yard talking to her friends on the other side of the fence. I love that there are no confusing buttons for her to figure out, once the walkie talkies are linked she is good to go, all she has to do from there is talk, how cool is that! She loves her walkie talkie so much that she has asked me if she could keep one in her room to talk to mommy across the house.
I'd buy again...
Feels durable, kids love it, and mom and dad don't hate it. There's no static noise like on typical walk or talkie set ups. It's also user friendly to younger ages. You don't have to “press and talk “ with this one. Once the “call is established “ kids can have a seamless conversation back and forth...more like a phone call. I did buy one a couple weeks ago, but returned it due to a malfunction. One device didn't have enough volume to reasonably play with.
