Bought to use as bicycle rack, the weight limit is 100lbs, most bike racks for the ladder do not hold a bike over 60 lbs. And it will b great for the camp chairs when I dont take the bike, there is a strap with it but I added a ratchet strap. Walmart is making me review before I actually use it on a trip, if u review within 48 hours u get a $5 promo code or something. I will rereview after trip
