. # 40167 Jensen (prior to 2001). Lid Assembly (with Pin Hinge) Replacement:. 1. Open existing lid by turning crank handle. 2. From roof of RV, remove screw at each end of hinge. 3. Remove pin from hinge assembly. 4. Slide lid off crank arm. 5. To install new lid reverse steps 1 through 4. # 40168 Ventline and New Elixir (beginning with 1994). Lid Assembly (with Metal Hinge) Replacement:. 1. Open existing lid by turning crank handle. 2. Remove crank handle. 3. Remove trim (4 screws) and screen (2 screws). 4. Remove crank (2 screws) and slide out of hardware in lid. 5. From roof of RV, straighten hinge curl at one end (with pliers) and slide off cover. 6. To install new lid reverse steps 1 through 5, closing hinge curl at each end. # 40169 Old Elixir (prior to 1994). Lid Assembly (with Metal Tube-like Hinge) Replacement:. 1. Open existing lid by turning crank handle. 2. Remove crank handle. 3. Remove trim (4 screws) and screen (2 screws). 4. Remove crank (2 screws) and slide out of hardware in lid. 5. From roof of RV, remove screw from each end hinge and slide off lid. 6. To install new cover, reverse steps 1 through 5.
