Great wash for Green Shadows

Army Painter Quickshades are acrylic washes that are widely used among miniature painters. The wash is a highly dilute acrylic paint that flows into crevices in the miniature and only lightly coats flat areas, simulating shadows. Darker effects can be achieved with multiple layers, which I would recommend with the Green Tone. Green things (leaves, military uniforms, lizards, orcs) can benefit from some Green Tone.

This stuff is amazing, create any wash

The instructions say to add it to wash, to lower the opacity and make it more translucent and it does do that.. But the secret, The way I found that works best.. want to shade with a color you don't own? Just mix in a 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 ratio and this will make an awesome wash out of any color int he army painter line. I've even used it with other brands, but not to such awesome results as using with other army painter paints.

Green Tone Wash

This is a green wash which is semi transparent. If painted over the entire model, it will pool in the low areas and make shadows. This gives models depth and shows more details.
