Perfect—so sad about new versions

This is the best sneaker I've ever had—so supportive, comfortable, and better looking than a lot of running shoes. It's absolutely devastating that the new version(s) of this model are so different. I stocked up on two pairs of these, but I'll have to find another brand/model after that if Asics doesn't move the Gel-Kayano closer to the design it had for the 28 :(

I'm not even a runner, these are my everyday walking-around shoes. Years ago, I wore a previous generation of Gel-Kayano shoes all around European cities sightseeing all day for a week, and my feet were not sore at all. This was the first pair of shoes I had where I could do that! So I've stuck with Gel-Kayano since then.

This shoe stands out as the BEST for my needs. i tried several brands and even those that boast about orthodics, shoes for pronation and arch support. I paid twice the amount from place where that particular shoe is their speciality. They were returned... I'm telling you if you need this type of shoe with wonderful shoe !!! I had this type before and I dont know why I wasted my time on searching for other shoes!
