How can I possibly 'review' an item when its value is based almost entirely on its performance in the event of an emergency? I'll review as best I can. First of all, it arrived on time and the parcel was delivered properly to my door. It was shipped in a cardboard Walmart box, and inside was the item, boxed in its manufacturer's box and the box was factory sealed in plastic, which was impressive when considering how many reviewers there are that claim that their item arrived with obvious evidence of it having been sent to another consumer previously, who obviously rejected it and sent it back to the company, only to have the company re-box it and sell it as new (we would dread getting a fire extinguisher that was used, then resold)! The box was brightly colored, glossy, and very impressive looking, and the instructions on how to release the pull tab and use the extinguisher were clearly illustrated, right on the side of the box. The item itself is well made, and its overall appearance is reassuring that it will perform as advertised in the event of a fire. I hope I never have a fire, but this product makes me rest assured that I have a reliable backup source.
