After a successful book publishing deal, David (Jarrett Jackson) buys his young wife Vanessa (Knajula Edwards) a new home. But after two years of focusing on nothing but his book, the marriage has become strained. Soon Vanessa finds herself supporting the family, and feels a growing resentment toward the man she once described as the man of her dreams. Frustrated, she expresses her feelings by constantly belittling David. For his part, David is desperate to save his marriage and reaches out to his Pastor (Reggie Gaskins) for counseling. As the couple works through their problems, secrets are revealed and they face a true test of faith and honesty.
