Awesome Pans
I just needed frying pans. It seems like every fry pan I purchase gets ruined before I've had it a week. The offending food that ruins the nonstick? Scrambled eggs or sauteing onions. Why? No clue. I ordered these pans figuring I was probably wasting my money. I was very pleasantly surprised. I made scrambled eggs in the new 8 oz pan and the eggs did not stick. I used no oil, butter or cooking spray. Not once, not twice but 3 times. The pan wiped clean each and every time. Any pan that can pass the scrambled egg test has my approval. Now when I want my eggs to have a buttery taste, I'll use butter to flavor the eggs, not to hopefully prevent the eggs from ruining yet another pan. When i need to replace my other pans, I know what I'm getting.

I have been using Tfal Frying pans for years. Have tried many different models, Easy Care, Cook %26 Strain, Comfort. So was time to try the Ultimate. What I like about the Ultimate is it's deeper which leads to less splatter. The bottom is different than the others mentioned above which I have found helps with more even cooking, temperature control and remains stable on the burner. It's much heavier than the Easy Care, weight is similar to Cook %26 Strain. The Ultimate is slightly more expensive than other models I have purchased. I usually replace my frying pans yearly as the non stick just seems to start giving out. Depending how often you use, you may get longer wear, I use mine almost daily. Whether the Ultimate will last longer than the other Tfal models, time will tell. Overall Tfal makes great frying pans at lower price point and all the ones I have tried have great non stick surface.
