low profile is really nice for keeping counter looking neat and making the focus your items for sale, cash drawer is plastic as expected, we remove the drawer every shift and that has proven to be a lot of wear and tear on the wheels but our other Casio registers have lasted several years before breaking off and for the price you can't beat it. Easy to program. would like an extra set of keys but for under $100 that is asking a lot.
