this is a beautiful frig / freezer i just got it so i cant address long term yet but i have alot of GE appliances and never had a problem with any of them

GE Model: GNE27JYMYFFS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice fridge, install went well, fridge capacity excellent, freezer a little small because of ice maker but there is always a trade-off. Cooling nicely and making ice soon after install. Dimensions were spot on. Energy use will take time to figure out. Shelving in doors were a little stiff to put in but probably better than the alternative. Hopefully it will last longer than the LG that just quit on us after 5 yrs.

Nice looking and simple fridge !

We purchased this GE refrigerator after checking many sites and reviews. We chose this model for different reasons, for example it is simple, has the controls out of the fridge proper, does Not have ice or water in the door and has the nice SS finish. Our Amana lasted 16 years with only 1 repair when it was about 1 year old , so, we will see how this GE stacks up over time.
