I am a larger girl, weighing in at 220 pounds. I have gained about 75 pounds in the last 2 years (I had my third child), and didn't think I would get into a swimsuit anywhere other than home. But with this suit, I look a lot closer to what I used to. The sizing is definitely off. Older posts say to go up a size, and newer posts say to go down a size. I got a large and I usually wear a size 16 and rarely an 18. It is snug, but that is how it is supposed to be. It does stretch a little in the water, so I would size down if you plan on doing something other than tanning in it. I loved the teal so much that I ordered the black and white stripe. I actually like the black and white stripe the best. Everyone who has seen it asks where I got it, and are surprised when I say Wal-mart. I have spent a lot more on swimsuits in the past, but I think I might have to get this one in more colors and in smaller sizes because I am losing weight, and I want to make sure I don't wind up missing out on this suit when I can't wear these two anymore. My measurements right now are 47, 37.5, 47. I hope this helps you choose a suit. :-)

I finally found a swimsuit that keeps my breast up. I am overweight and short and high waisted so having large breast makes it hard to find a swimsuit that keeps everything where it belongs instead of looking like they are resting on my stomach or falling out the bottom of the cups. Also, this swimsuit highlights my waist and makes my stomach look smaller. I actually was able to fit into the 8/10 but am really more of a 10/12. The 12/14 was too big. Normally I have to get a 16 to keep my breast from falling out all over the place. The only thing that would have made it better was if the one with the little skirt attached had been available. I have extremely large thighs so having a little more material to hide them would have been nice. But overall I am very happy with the swimsuit and I had tried on at least 20 of them this summer.
