assembly was simple. the legs adjust so you can change the height of the stool to a degree if you wish. also the adjustable legs allow you to ensure the stool is level. I would have prefered one of the more neutral cilors but the color I purchased was such a bargin, it was worth it. Great little stool to elevate your legs while reading.

Beautiful Ottomon, Very Cute and So Useful!!

Really wonderful little storage ottomon -- just perfect, really. It is beautiful, strong, and great for keeping little things in that would otherwise be getting knocked around/lost. The color is vibrant and the fabric is soft, and I can actually sit on it and it feels stable. Only two things -- one screw on the bottom would not go all the way in no matter what I did (still feels strong, surprisingly, so I stopped fighting with it after about a half hour), and it initially had a nasty smell to the inside of the storage container -- but this was gone after about two days (I let it sit open to air for the first day). For the price, couldn't be beat. Thinking of ordering another also, I like it that much!
