HP is good brand. I have been using HP for years without any problem. I like this laptop so much because it boots up fast and has big storage. It is also very convenient with the backlit keyboard when using the laptop at night. There is no cd/dvd reader/writer. It would be better if there is one installed with the laptop.

Item NOT as described!!!! No backlit keyboard or numeric keypad. When I returned it, a full refund was not given and I had to dispute it with the credit card company. I do NOT recommend buying this laptop (or any) from this vendor!!!
