FindTape Glow in the Dark Marking Tape (GLW-SLD): 1 in. x 33 ft. (Luminescent Lime Green)

FindTape Glow in the Dark Marking Tape (GLW-SLD) is a smooth, solid color photoluminescent marking tape used to aid in low light or no light situations (during lights out conditions from power failures, night time, and more.). This cost-effective tape is constructed from a self-adhesive plastic film base impregnated with photoluminescent powder. The tape is a solid cream color during the day or full light conditions and photoluminescence green glow at night or low or no light conditions.

GLW-SLD tape has a permanent self-adhesive base that sticks to most surfaces, can be recharged using natural or artificial light, and the non-radioactive photolu­min­escent powders have a long lifespan. This tape is conveniently shipped on a 3-inch diameter core and can be cut to length as needed. A popular use for this tape is around light switch plates or other on/off power systems so you can easily find them in the dark.

The glow tape is 11.8 millicandelas per square meter at five minutes, and glowness decreases to 4.6 millicandelas after 10 minutes. After 20 minutes they are 1.6 millicandelas but still clearly visible in a totally dark room to the night-adjusted eye. However, it would not compare in brightness to a standard flashlight.
