Great book for those with roots to WV or mining

Did not read the book but gave it to my grandpa as a Christmas gift. He loved it. He is 92 and from West Virginia, and worked in a coal mine until moving to Illinois sometime in the late 1940s. For the past week we’ve been hearing little snippets from the book like hes a historian. “Come over and see this picture in this book.” He’s already invited friends to read it too. Probably his favorite gift he’s received in the past few years!
