Definitely worth the money!

My snake (spotted python) had a broken glass door on his terrarium so I needed to go “house” shopping for him. I decided to really upsize this time, more than double the size he had before. I just set it up so we're still “furnishing” his new place and adding real plants and another/bigger waterfall this time around, so I'll add pictures and updates once it's done. Here are a list of my pros and cons… Pros: •The height allows double the space to stretch, explore and offer enrichment. •It's harder for my cats to jump up and lie on the top since it's taller. •It's so spacious that I can use all of his old “furniture” (driftwood pieces, hollow log, silk plants, water fountain, house, etc.) and add more! (We're adding a bigger waterfall, water bowl/pool, live plants, creating an “underground” cave and who knows what else we'll come up with. Etsy has awesome ideas and options.) •The screen at the top is more of a metal mesh rather than screen material so it'll be more durable (my cats caused the screen on the older terrarium to sink and come apart, no matter how much I took them off). •It's a beautiful addition to my home, making it a nice visual focal point instead of giving off a “cage” vibe. •It came very well packaged, all glass well secured, and gloves to protect your hands. •Excellent terrarium, especially for the money. I found this one priced less on here than any other site or store. Con's: •I'm not a fan of the doors. You have to apply a bit of pressure (back and up) to grip them enough to slide, so over time it will weaken the glass. I ordered adhesive knobs to open/close without applying any pressure. I'll let you know if it helps. Misc Notes: •It's VERY heavy so make sure you have a stable and secure stand. [I bought mine on here as an aquarium cabinet/stand to make sure it could hold the weight and for storage of his extra stuff (light bulbs, fake plants, travel carrier, etc.).] •Read your instructions VERY carefully before putting it together. I missed that the poles had to be turned and tightened before adding the corner pieces, causing me an hour of frustration, trying to put it together, but the glass not securing. Also, there are two front corner pieces that are different from the back so make sure you have the correct ones in place before you add the glass. The difficulty was definitely a me issue, but securing the glass until it's set is a team effort. As long as you follow step by step, you're golden. •I'd advise putting it together on the stand rather than transporting it after. I've seen reviews saying the glass shattered when moved. •Generally, it assembled nicely, but with a side of a potential heart attack until all glass was secured. **Definitely a 2 person job! Three to support the glass while assembling if you can get the help! •Save your box in case you ever have to move it; it could easily shatter if moved as is. I really like this terrarium so far and my snake is loving the space to explore!!

I'm in debt cuz my lizard but's it's fine <3

Very spacious and holds heat decently, but that was soooo scarry putting together with the glass panels, it's a 2-3 person job for sure!
