Easy assembly, doesn’t need a box frame. I have a 12inch mattress on it and fits great!Looks beautiful once you put it all together and has more then enough space underneath the bed. It has a velvet touch feeling. It did come with a little tear in the back of head board but nothing too crazy to worry about.
