Astral Tequila Anejo, 750 mL, 40% ABV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the Astral Tequila. I purchased the Anejo, which is aged for 12 months in single use American oak bourbon barrels. In that process a lot of flavor comes out that I did not expect from a tequila. I did get a little vanilla, butterscotch, and wood flavor at the back end. I tried the Astral Anejo Tequila with salt and lime and also without. This tequila is so complex to me it does not need the salt and lime, but the salt does bring out a bit more flavor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually buy tequila for cooking! But I thought I have everything for a tequila sunrise so I will try one of those too. It was delicious very nice flavor. It will be awesome in my tequila lime Alfredo too. When the dish is ready I pour the tequila over it and light it on fire! So good and great presentation too
