Surprisingly rugged receiver hitch hoist!

I've been wanting a receiver hitch hoist for some time, but most of the ones I looked at were cheaply built. I was considering building one with weight bench components until I ran across the Kill Shot hoist. Not only is it well built, the adjustable foot makes it very stable and it pivots on two sets of bearings, not a piece of pipe like most of the others. My Dodge Ram pick-up sits very high, so this is going to work great for lifting generators and other heavy items onto the tailgate and into the bed. Priced well, too!

Hopeful hoist

We found this on line after my elk hunting partner saw a competitors design on another rig. The DR hoist is preferred; the finish is better, we like the welds (VS nuts & bolts) as well as the height, two piece construction and apparent ease of use. We have high hopes to use it this coming season. If so we can post a follow-up evaluation.

I seldom buy things online like this because you can never tell the quality. I was 500% satisfied with this hoist.. after taking maybe 15-20 minutes to unpack and assemble I could tell this was strong. That same weekend i downed a deer and put it to work. 1.5 hours later deer was quartered and i was driving home all from the tailgate of my truck. unbelievable quality. I'm giving it 5 stars because this is a great price on a quality hoist. my only concern is the webbing and after inspecting it you can always buy a heavy duty one to replace it with for under 50 bucks. your getting a hoist that will stand the test of time...
