Matrix 1000 watt 10 in subwoofer

This is a great 10" subwoofer, regardless of the ridiculously low price. Perfect for small, sealed enclosures. The description calls it an LX12, but this is the LX10 (10-inch) model. This is not a well-known brand, but the price and the specs made it worth a try and I am happily surprised! I have this sub mounted in a Atrend sealed downward firing box right at the recommended 0.6 cubic feet. I listen to hip-hop, gospel, and soul, and it plays nice, low, clean, tight bass. It's only getting about 250W RMS (which is plenty thanks to 89.7 dB sensitivity - doesn't need much power to make good sounds), but it seems like it can handle rated power (400W RMS) so far. I haven't really broken it in so I'm not blasting the cabin, but it's plenty loud for me - I'm way past the stage of trying to annoy my neighbors but I can see two of these in a shallow truck box doing some work. Walmart has fast shipping (site-to-store), so I got it in about 3 days. This subwoofer actually fits a 10-inch standard opening (unlike my old Alphasonik PSW310X which was too large) and the push-type speaker terminals are solid. This is a great buy.

This speakers are great for the price I would recommend it to everyone.
