All of the pieces were there, but my friend did use his own. wrench to tighten the screws It is a nice looking bed frame. Very solid. Hexkey assembly, simple instructions, took less than two hours on my own. I would have preferred it not be hexkey because my fingers were in so much pain the next few days- find something to use as a cushion!!! Looks kinda Vintage frame

Its a very strong frame and is pretty comfortable, with a queen size top mattress only and the height of the bed is just perfect . The only draw back is the middle part of the frame sticks out alittle too far on the side and 'Ive caught my foot on it a few times .
