a great orientation to kettlebell workouts

I tried kettlebell about 6 years ago, but injured myself and was put off by them for a while because the first video I tried didn't properly explain correct form and execution of the basic exercises. But I really wanted to try again and gave this one a try. So far all I've done is the tutorial, but even THAT is a great workout! It is all methodically and precisely explained and demonstrated in a way that is both easy go understand and NOT condescending. The instructor is enthusiastic without bring annoying, and easy on the eyes without flaunting muscles in too tight clothes (like some male instructors tend to do). I can't wait to get the tutorial down and progress. But for the tutrial alone this was a smart buy and we'll worth the money.

Motivation to keep kettlebell -great for beginers

I am a first time beginner in kettlebell, I'm in my 50's, desk job, yes out of shape. Bought a set of kettlebell (5-10-15lb) and shopped reviews for kettlebell dvds. This one and JM Shred it with Weights come up as "best" beginner dvd. Both were at my local library so I watched and tried them out. This one is best for me in just starting out. I did buy both this one and the JM dvd. I will be using this one until I am fit enough to go to JM's (rate that as "established beginners"/intermediate people)- This one explains many tips on how to handle the weights and instructions= on the workouts - they are 25 min long - these dvds are not like aerobic workouts, any age can handle these. In just 1 week I feel energy, shoulders and hips feel more flexible. I feel stronger in balance too. I am only working on a 5lb kettlebell and its perfect weight to begin with. I work out every 4days and am using JM Beginner Shred on off days
