Sands long edges, end sections, radii, miters, and by turning work piece over, accurate flat surfaces at right angles. Used on soft and hard woods, non-ferrous metals, steel, plastics (plexiglass and fiberglass), cork and rubber. A simple chart indicates the recommended speeds on different materials. Sturdy construction: Main body of ribbed die-cast aluminum (not steel tube or sheet metal construction). Table of die-cast aluminum with machined surface. Tilts 15° inwards and 45° outwards (a scale facilitates accurate adjustment). Table miter gauge supplied as standard. Machined backing disc - driven by a twin ball bearing spindle. Standard commercially available self-adhesive sanding discs fix firmly and can be replaced quickly. Coolant system for wet grinding of glass, stone, tiles and steel. The silicone surface allows that the attached sanding discs can easily be removed after completion of the work. Four square silicone films for re-using the used sanding discs are included. NO 28968 Liquid Coolant Kit (for TG 115/E and MBS/E): For wet sanding or cutting ceramics or glass (lapidary work) the MICROMOT SYSTEM optionally offers a Liquid Coolant Kit (coolant container and coolant tray) which is fast and easily mounted to both either the Band Saw MBS/E or the Disc Sander TG 115/E. Coolant container: Plastic container with flow release. 39" (100 cm) tubing, 2 spouts for the MBS/E table and mounting bracket/screws. Holds 1 quart. Coolant collection tray: Size 16 17/32" x 12 13/64" x 19/32" (420 x 310 x 15 mm). Includes gasket for sealing the attachment holes of the machine.
