Very easy to assemble (6yo daughter helped). In use it proved to a sturdy piece of furniture that looks nice enough we put it in the common area rather than hiding it away in her room. She loves it and will go there and draw first thing in the morning instead of begging for screen time, so that was a win. Only flaw was a small crack on the exterior corner of the seat of the chair. Minor, but will still need to fill and sand and possible paint (or just let her put a sticker over it)
