This shoe cabinet is absolutely beautiful but it was a *b* to assemble. Yes - it should definitely have two people to put it together but when you live alone then you work with what you have - yourself. What should have been an hours worth of assembling (I would assume, with 2 people) took me several plus hours. One part of the picture instructions was wonky too - I had to disassemble the inside divider piece in both lower cabinets because it was impossible to get a screw in where instructed. That was a waste of time. The two bottom doors really should have magnets to help keep them closed because the cabinet, once completely assembled, is not secure enough to keep from tilting. And yes, do not forego securing it to the wall! There is no doubt in my mind it WILL tip over, especially if you have cats that are tree dwellers! The top cabinet drawer, once assembled, feels firm and secure; it opens and closes nicely and has a solid feel to it. I got the deep green color as pictured. It is true to the images online. The honeycomb pattern on front gives it a slightly industrial yet classy/sophisticated look. The gold colored handles and legs are solid metal and puts an elegant finishing touch to this unique cabinet. However, two of the three handles came with blemishes on them. Now to contact seller to see if they will replace them. Blemishes cannot be polished out. Overall, and despite no second person to help with the assembly, I very much like this shoe cabinet. It holds all the shoes I need it to hold, but please note: It will not hold hi-heels well if at all. I improvised and made it work though. It will not hold short winter boots well either. ps - Shipping was on time and as specified. Item was well packaged and no missing parts. Instructions were mostly clear. I recommend pre-drilling all holes as you go along assembling it, as it will make the process easier as you screw in the screws.
